Cheryl Darlene Sullivan

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of a beloved mother, Cheryl, who passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025, at the age of 66.

Cheryl was born on October 4, 1958, in Memphis, Tennessee to Alma and Billy Joe Leatherwood. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She married the love of her life, Steve, on October 5, 1996. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and enduring commitment.

A woman of grace, strength, and endless compassion, Cheryl dedicated her life to her family and friends. She was known for her warm heart, generous spirit, loving her pool, making sweet tea, and stealing babies. Her home was always open, and her heart even more so.

She is survived by her husband Steve, her kids Keith, Mallory, Niko, and the son she never had, Oskar. Her grandkids, Kayla, Angelica, Cassandra, Andrew, Christina, Steven, Melissa, Athena, Richard, Drake, and Asher. As well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who she considered to be her family as well.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her mom and dad, Alma and Billy Joe, her brother Greg, sister-in-law Trisha, her nephew Kyle, her brother-in-law Raymond, and last but not least, her best friend Miranda.

A memorial service will be held on July 1, 2025, at 4:00 PM, located at Memorial Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
