Christiane Renate Sharp

Christiane Renate Sharp went to her eternal rest on October 4, 2023. She was born August 23,1950 in Saint-Chamond France to Herbert and Lieselotte Koecher. France and much of Europe was still recovering from World War II at the time and life wasn't easy. 

Christiane moved to The United States as a girl with her parents and started a whole new chapter of her life.  She married David Kent Sharp on January 12, 1980. He was her rock.  They enjoyed many good times together. Traveling was very important to them, she loved going to new places and seeing new things. Unfortunately, their time together was cut way too short as he passed away in 1992.  Christiane did her absolute best to raise her only son Kelly as a single mother.

Christiane had a lifelong love of animals, and they loved her too. Later in life she still kept up with technology and loved playing on her laptop.

Christiane is survived by her son Kelly Sharp and her cousin David Koecher. 

She was preceded in death by her husband David; parents Herbert and Lieselotte; cousins Rolf and Helfried. 

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, October 13th, 2023 at 11:30 A.M. at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. 

A private family viewing will begin prior to service from 10:30 to 10:45 AM.
