Cindy Rae Walsh

June 3, 1965 — June 2, 2023

Our dear Cindy Rae Ward Walsh passed away peacefully in her home on Friday June 2nd,2023 at the age of 57, one day shy of her 58th birthday.
Cindy was born to Richard Brent Ward and Penny K Ward Andreas on June 3rd, 1965.
Cindy had the most amazing passion for life, her family and loved ones and all her many pets. She had a pure heart of gold that she opened to all that crossed her path. Cindy was one hell of a woman.  She was a fantastic daughter, amazing mother, the best grandmother, loyal sister, adoring wife and the best neighbor.
Cindy always brought a smile to anyone’s face with her contagious smile and laugh. She knew how to make a house a home and loved to share her home with anyone who came into her life, animals included. She loved pampering her many pets. She was often referred to as a zookeeper. She had a deep love for all living things. She made friends easily with no effort whatsoever. Just by being her bubbly, outgoing self.
Cindy found her soul mate and best friend in Jim Walsh. Their love is like nothing anyone has ever seen. The type of love everyone dreams of finding. They truly are twin flames, the perfect match.
Cindy was the glue that held her family together. Always the life of the party. She loved family nights, barbeques, movie nights or any activity that brought everyone together.
Cindy had a huge passion and love for the University of Utah football team. ” GO UTES “. And of course, NASCAR. Cindy loved spending time with her mother, husband, best friends, Sheri and Brent Lake, and of course her children and her grandchildren.
Cindy set such a good example for her legacy to follow. The way she lived her life has left an everlasting impression on so many.
She will forever be in our hearts. Always loved, never forgotten, and truly missed.
Cindy is preceded in death by her father Brent Ward; grandfather Wayne Kilpatrick; grandmother Barbara Kilpatrick; aunt Marie Kilpatrick; her best friend Danielle Dawn Hammond and her best buddy Tucker and all the many other animals she has loved and cared for.
Cindy is survived by her mother Penny K. Ward Andreas; brothers Scott (Lynda) Ward, Troy (Shelayne) Cloward; husband Jim Walsh; children Andi Moll, Kenny (Whitney) Smith, Joshua Tanner (Daisha) Schirle, Zach Ulland; Ashlie (Jakobe) Valentine, Shannie (Michael) Peters, Logan (Kayla) Walsh; grandchildren, Owen Bills, Kohen Smith, Wren Smith, Blaise Schirle, Brailee Peters, Ryder Peters, Kyire Fisher, Wyatt Valentine, Kennedy Valentine, Holden Valentine, Kiya Valentine; and her  many loved ones including her friends and neighbors that she loved dearly.
Cindy’s favorite color was red. So, we please ask that instead of wearing black, wear red or University of Utah attire.
Thank you all for your love and support.
