Claudine "Deni" Thompson

March 24, 1949 — June 1, 2026

West Jordan, Utah

Claudine “Deni” Thompson born on March 24, 1949, left us peacefully on June 1, 2026.

Deni grew up in Dragerton and Spanish Fork, Utah. She enjoyed taking her mom on fishing trips and spending time with her sister Carolyn, and brothers Jack, and Larry.

Deni married CJ “Homer” Thompson and moved to West Jordan, Utah. Together, they raised three children: Shane, Jen, and Jamie. Deni was incredibly proud of her children. She was known for being a little strict and always “in their business,” but only because she cared deeply and wanted the very best for them. She was always involved, always supportive, and always full of love.

Deni worked at the local bowling alley, where she met four women who would become her lifelong friends: Norma, Betty, Cindy, and Kay. Together, they formed “The Bowling Alley Gang,” affectionately known as “The BAGs.” Their friendship was filled with laughter, loyalty, and countless cherished memories.

Deni loved her two amazing grandsons, Loftin and Trevor. These boys were her pride and joy. She loved spending time with them, cheering them on, and laughing at the time they spent teasing one another.

Deni was a very crafty lady. She loved sewing projects for friends and family. Sewing brought her great happiness, as it reminded her of her sister Carolyn. She loved to create handmade gifts. Her friends and family cherished not only the beautiful things she created but also the love and care she put into every stitch.

Deni had the gift of gab. She loved talking with people, learning their stories, and sharing her own. She could spend hours reminiscing about raising her children, the joys of being a grandma, and the adventures they shared as a family. She loved spending time at Disneyland with her family, creating some of her fondest memories. More than anything, Deni cherished being together with the people she loved. She loved baseball and cheered for the Dodgers—particularly when they beat the Yankees!

Deni leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, friendship, and love. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her stories will live on in our hearts, and her devotion to family and friendship will never be forgotten.
