Cleo Shaw 1916 ~2007

Cleo Monsen Hooper Shaw, age 90, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 6th, 2007 from natural causes. Cleo was born in Logan, Utah on May 19th, 1916 to Chris and Ruby Monsen. Cleo married Carl Hooper on December 14th, 1940. They were blessed with a daughter, Christine, who preceded Cleo in death in 1999. She is survived by their three grandchildren: Brent, Greg, and Renee and five great grandchildren: Gregory, Mitchell, Cameron, Avery, and Lauren. Cleo was a devoted mother to her daughter and loved her dearly. She was full of spunk and wit and was adored by her grandchildren. They have fond memories of going to the Nut Tree Restaurant and Winchell Donuts in California as well as sliding down the laundry chute in Granny's home in Ogden, Utah. Cleo married Raymond Shaw, August, 21st 1986 and is survived by him and his three children Ann, John, and Mary Beth, his ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Cleo and Raymond loved to travel together, especially to visit her daughter Christine and grandchildren in California. She always had an eye for fashion and particularly enjoyed shopping at the Kimball Junction Outlets and having lunch at the Stew Pot in Park City. We are grateful for the tender loving care given to Cleo by the staff of Vista Care, over the past several months. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 14th at the Logan Cemetery.
