Connie Marie Petersen

Connie Marie Petersen, age 65, passed away on February 8, 2026, in Millcreek, Salt Lake County, Utah.

She was born on November 29, 1961, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Darwin H. Petersen and Verna A. Petersen, who preceded her in death.

Connie lived a quiet and steady life centered on family and simple joys. She loved knitting and crocheting, often sharing her handmade creations with those she cared about. She found happiness outdoors with her family and had a special love for animals, especially her black cat, Shadow.

She is survived by her brothers, Rex D. Petersen and Verdean Petersen, and her sister, Dena Lee Madox.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Joe Petersen; her sister, Dixie Ann Petersen; and her parents.

Connie will be remembered for her gentle nature, her creativity, and the quiet love she showed in everyday ways. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to attend and honor her memory at a viewing on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.  A graveside service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, located at the same address.
