Cynthia Griffin Dodge

December 23, 1958 — September 3, 2025

Cynthia “Cindy” Griffin Dodge, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on September 3, 2025, in Murray, Utah. She was 66 years old.

Cindy was born on December 23, 1958, in Pensacola, Florida, to Gerald and Barbara Griffin. As the daughter of a Naval officer, she grew up living all across the country before settling in Utah in 1978.

On November 23, 1979, Cindy married the love of her life, Guy Dodge. Together they built a beautiful life centered on family, faith, hard work, and unconditional love. Cindy’s greatest joy was being with her family, and she considered them her proudest accomplishment.

An avid reader and movie lover, Cindy found joy in stories of all kinds, but the word that best described her own story was selfless. She gave endlessly of herself—always putting the needs of others above her own—and her presence left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

Cindy is survived by her devoted mother, Barbara; her loving children, Danielle and Domenic (Bree); and her cherished grandchildren, Logan, Bridger, and Brooklyn. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald; her younger sister, Danielle; and her youngest daughter, Diana. Cindy will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her love, kindness, and the legacy of family she so lovingly built.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 9th at 0900 am. Graveside services will follow at 1100 am at Mountain View Memorial Cemetery, 3115 E. Bengal Blvd., Cottonwood Heights, Utah, 84121.
