Dana K. Mahoney

Dana K. Mahoney passed from this life on April 16, 2015 at his home in Salt Lake City after a valiant battle with cancer.  He was born March 24, 1960 in Salt Lake City to J. Marves and Donna Kinsey Mahoney.

Dana attended Olympus High School where he graduated in 1978.  He attended Utah State University.  Dana married Jann Ewell June 9, 1990.  They have one daughter, Brenna.  Dana loved the outdoors, and riding his horse.  He was very talented at making beautiful ornamental iron.

Dana is survived by his wife, Jann; daughter, Brenna; and sister, Martine (David) Hales.  Preceded in death by his parents, and sister-in-law, Angie.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Cottonwood 12th Ward, 1750 East Spring Lane (5300 So.).  Friends and family are invited to visit Tuesday evening 6:00-8:00 pm at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church Wednesday morning 9:30-10:30 am prior to the service.  Interment will follow at the Heber City Cemetery.
