Daniel Raymond Deans

Daniel Raymond Deans of Riverton passed away Monday, June 10, 2024 at his home following a three-month battle with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. He was born on August 16, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Raymond and Lois Deans. He attended South high and served a mission to North Carolina-Virginia. Dan Attended BYU and the U of U for a Masters in accounting and a bachelors in marketing. Was a CPA for over 40 years in the Salt Lake valley.

Golfing was his passion, playing in several tournaments throughout the state.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Brownlee Deans and children Alicia Pearman, Ashlee Deans and Chelsie (James) Macklin. Grandchildren Konner and Alianna Pearman, Marshall, Tanner, and Dean Macklin. Sisters Christine (Paul) Vlaardingerbroek, Sharon Stevens, Holli (Mike) West and extended family Agustin and Joseph Pearman.

Preceded in death by his parents, one brother Todd Deans, a granddaughter Madilyn Pearman, and a nephew Ryan Vlaardingerbroek.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday June 15, 2024 at 1:00 pm. Viewing to be held prior at 12:00 pm at Golden Meadows III Ward 2361 West 13400 South Riverton, Utah. An evening visitation will be held Friday June 14, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the same address.

Interment will be Memorial Mountain View Cemetery in Cottonwood Heights Utah at a later date.
