David Bell

February 11, 1965 — January 17, 2013

David Cooper Bell, 47, passed away on January 17, 2013 at IMC Hospital in Murray, Utah after a long illness.
David’s goal was to graduate from SLCC in June of 2013, but his most important goal in life was to be the best father and grandfather possible. While going to school David worked for the Globe at SLCC and wrote many articles that inspired us all. He loved to fish, camp, draw, watch football (mainly the Broncos), but most of all he love being with his family and friends.
His best friend was his wheel chair- with or without his leg on.
David had a fantastic journey, and never complained about his illness. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. David never met a stranger, and everyone who knew him was inspired by the life he lived, living each day to the fullest.
Those left to cherish his memory are his memory are his mother Sharon and stepfather Paul Simmonds of Utah, father Bob and stepmother Sharon Bell of Colorado, daughter Tamera Bell and husband Gene Brown, daughter Desirae Bell, sons Nicholas and Paul Bell, 4 beautiful grandchildren Mitchell, Kira, Kaylea, and Vincent, brother Michael Bell, stepsisters Holli Simmonds, Heather Ellison, Stepbrother Anthony Ekenstam, grandmother Vira Cooper, all of Utah, and half brother Wade Bell of Colorado, and many nieces and nephews of Utah and California.
David was preceded in death by his grandfather Ralph Cooper, grandparents Howard and Juanita Bell, his oldest sister Cheryl Bell Moreno, and older brother Robert Bell.
There will be a celebration of David’s life on Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 4-7 at 1031 Vine St. Salt Lake City, Utah.
