David was born on September 4, 1937, in Grand Junction, Colorado to Victor and Valvina Gomez. He died on December 06, 2025 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He Married Mary Lou Beatty on September 10, 1960.
Dad loved the Lord Jesus Christ. He was a Prayer Warrior, enjoyed studying the Bible, especially with all his Brother’s in Christ at Bible Study Fellowship (BSF). He was a Deacon at Gospel Light Church (First Southern Baptist Church) for 30 plus years. Dad had a heart knowing the Lord had redeemed him from all his sins and the depth of darkness (John 3:16). His continued ministry was to make known the Lord Jesus Christ to all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed a game of golf from time to time, until his physical body would allow no more. One of his favorite Bible verses was: 1st John 4:4, "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." God’s Word says this in John 14:6, "Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff, Doctors, RNs, Tech’s and Custodian’s at IMC Murray who cared with dignity up to Dad’s final breath. In Dad’s final words he said “Jesus, I’m coming”.
