David Michael Gough

DAVID MICHAEL GOUGH WAS BORN ON OCTOBER 31, 1946, PASSED AWAY ON AUGUST 6TH, 2026, SURROUNDED BY THE LOVE OF HIS FAMILY. 

David Michael Gough was a devoted Son, Brother, Father, Grandfather and friend, He was born to Norman Clarence Gough and Vivian Ethal Gough on Halloween October 31, 1946 in Spokane, Washington.

Because of his fathers job with Boeing, he attended many High Schools and graduated High school in 1964. He went on to BYU and in 1970 received his Bachelors of Science While attending BYU he met his sweetheart Linda Lee Long which he married in the Salt Lake City Temple on January 30th, 1971.

Because of his great business sense, he was very successful in the third-party Administrative unemployment and workers comp field. He started with Gates McDonald and company for eight years living in different places such as Los Angeles, Columbus. Ohio and Hollywood, California. While there he was offered a position with the Gibbons Company which he happily accepted. While with this company he worked hard eventually becoming Vice President of Operations over five states. With the company he lived in Portland. Oregon and Denver Colorado. At age 52 the Gibbons Company sold to Gates MeDonald and back to Ohio he went. After a year and a half of misery he was laid off, he decided to retire at the young age of 53 and the family moved to American Fork, Utah.

David had a heart full of Love for his Family. Son Lance, Daughter Danielle, Sons Chad and Bradley and daughter Krista. All of which kept him going in times of Adversity. David had a passion for the outdoors and especially for eagles, he collected them all throughout his marriage.

He is survived by 3 brothers, three sons, two daughters, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

His light forever will be remembered and deeply missed.
