David Andre Jennings

January 26, 1971 — July 8, 2025

David Andre Jennings was born at home in Greenville, Texas, on January 26, 1971, to Linda Jean Farkye and Thomas Ray Jennings Sr. He was the third of four children born to Linda and one of six children in total. He grew up alongside his siblings, Sidney Freeman, Timothy Jennings, and Odessa Jennings, and also shared a bond with his paternal siblings Artie Jennings and Thomas Jennings Jr. David was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted mother, Linda Farkye; his siblings; his children Deon Jennings and Meisha Jennings; and his grandchildren, Tavayis, Sampson, and Eli. He is also survived by a host of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Ray Jennings Sr.; his grandmother, Erma Jean Boldware; his grandfather, Willie Howard Freeman; his aunt, Bonita Stiggers; four great-aunts; and one great-uncle.

David’s life was filled with love, family, and resilience. His presence and smile will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
