Born July 27, 1925 to Theodore P. Jorgensen, and Hedevig Hansen Jorgensen. He married his sweetheart, Janis Livingston June 8, 1945 and their union lasted 62 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Theodore; wife, Janis; and eldest son, Jerold David Jorgensen (Cathy). He is survived by his children, Karen Raemer, Julie Willden (Gary), Jeff, Jennifer Renkel, Kirstie, Ziggy (Amber); grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was an accomplished musician, accountant, certified Data Processor and soldier.

A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He was a High Priest and held positions as a Counselor of the Sunday School and Music Director of his ward and has worked tirelessly on genealogy for his and Janis' family lineage.  He also served a genealogy calling at Temple Square.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 11:00am at the LDS East Millcreek 9th Ward, 3750 South Hillside Lane (2600 East). Friends and family may visit on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East and at the church from 9:30am to 10:30am on Monday prior to services.
