David Lynn Canning, age 82 passed away on July 5th, 2026 in West Jordan, Utah. He was born on April 22, 1944 in Murray, Utah to Frank Canning and Mildred (Erickson) Canning. He married Marge Canning.
Dad enjoyed fishing, golf, travel, and going to Idaho for scratch tickets.
He is survived by sons: Mark (Kim) Canning, Greg Canning, Brad (Jesie) Canning, Brother: Boyd Canning, Sister: Vicki Leary, 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grand children, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Mother, Wife who was the love of his life, grandson (Nicholas Canning)
A memorial will be held at a later date.
