David P Nieser

David P Nieser, age 82 of Salt Lake City, Utah, died peacefully at home on June 20, 2023. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 9, 1940 to Willie J Nieser and Edith L Myers. He married the love of his life, Ilah M Ryver on September 8, 1961.
He served in the Army as a tank mechanic and was awarded a sharpshooter with rifle award. He loved NASCAR races, fishing, boating, camping, and spending time with his family. He loved making music and teaching his many nephews how to play drums and guitars out in the garage.
Surviving David are his granddaughters, Camille Lovato and Christine (Terrance) Wilkins; 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Ilah M. Nieser; son, Michael D. Nieser; parents, Willie and Edith Nieser; grandparents; brothers; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life for David will be held at Memorial Redwood Mortuary on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM with Military Honors and placement of cremated remains at 3:30PM. Please share your memories of David.
