David Joseph Ransom was born on September 8, 1959 to Vernessa and Wendell H Ransom in Salt Lake City, Utah. David was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to all. He was called home on his birthday, September 8, 2025.

David was a jolly, fun loving, happy man who loved people and considered all he met as family. David was devoted to Family and always put their needs first. He loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He was proceeded in death by his siblings, Garth, Robert, and Clarisse. And his parents, Wendell and Vernessa. Remaining siblings Are Wendy Martin and Barbara Simpkins, all his nieces and nephews whom he loved so much.

Funeral services will be held on September 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., at 4366 South 1500 East, Salt Lake City Utah, 84124. Viewing will proceed the funeral from 1:00 pm to 1:45 p.m. Graveside service will follow the funeral.
