David Morris Shepherd

David Morris Shepherd, 64

Former California resident David M. Shepherd, 64, died March 1, 2012, at St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. David died unexpectedly from complications with an internal infection. In his final days, he was surrounded by all of his children, grandchildren and extended family members.

Mr. Shepherd was born Nov. 11, 1947, in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, to Lynn and Faye Shepherd. Throughout his life, he continued to stay close with his brother Jay Shepherd, his sister Dianne Gurr and his sister Tami Powell. He is survived by his five children, Cale, Bronwyn (Bob), Bryce (Tiffany), Tia (Jody), and Hayden. He was also blessed to have 11 grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 11:00am. A viewing will be held from 9:45-10:45 and the services will follow at the Highland View Ward building 3051 South 2900 East. David will be buried at the Larkin Sunset Gardens on 10600 South 1700 East following the services.
