David Lee Stevens

On January 28, 2012 our sweet son and brother was called back home to his Heavenly Father due to heart failure. He was born July 24, 1961 to Dale W. and Betty B. Stevens in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was a free spirit, loved cars, Andrea Bocelli music, air shows with his dad and uncles. He was gifted in art and writing. He was married twice and divorced. David was a truck driver for 18 years, part of which was cross country. He was a self proclaimed neighborhood watchdog. He had a big heart for helping neighbors, friends, and others. His love for his mother and sister, Donna, was evident in the cute way that he teased. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his mother, sister, uncles, aunts, and many cousins. Preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 3, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at the Valley View 11th Ward, 4101 South 1925 East, where friends and family can visit from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service.
