Debra Lynn Smith

May 19, 1956 — Sep 13, 2026

Debra Lynn Daniels Smith was born on May 19, 1956, and passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026, at the age of 70, in the comfort of her own bed.

Debbie married Raymond Smith, and together they shared 49 years of marriage. Throughout their life together, they built a family and a lifetime of memories. Debbie was a loving and proud mother and found great joy in being a grandmother. She treasured time spent with her family and close friends, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Debbie was incredibly creative and talented. She enjoyed many hobbies and was always finding new ways to express her creativity through crafting and the things she made with her hands. She was also a devoted Utah Jazz fan and loved cheering on her team. She had a special love for her Mustangs, including her most recent one, affectionately named “Sally.”

Christmas was especially meaningful to Debbie, and she always went big. She poured so much thought, creativity, and love into the holiday, taking great joy in bringing the family together. For Debbie, it was never simply about the decorations or celebrations—it was about the people she loved and the memories they made together.

Those who knew Debbie best will remember her as creative, talented, generous, understanding, and full of humor. She had a deeply loving heart and a way of making the people around her feel cared for. Her love was woven into so many of the little things she did, and her presence brought warmth and laughter to the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.

Debbie is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Raymond Smith; her children, Brandy, Daniel (DJ), and Dustin; her daughters-in-law, Sanna and Kirsten; and her grandchildren, Sage, Kylee, Lucas, Kalvin, Ella, Orion, Dawson, and Bryson.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joy Wilder; her father, Boyce Daniels; her stepmother, Ruby; her stepfather, Delbert; and her son-in-law, Joseph.

Debbie’s life was filled with love, creativity, laughter, family, and countless memories. She will always be remembered, always be talked about, and will be dearly missed for the rest of our lives. Her love and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held on October 17 from 1:00–4:00 p.m. at Rose Creek Crossing Clubhouse, 13615 Pyrenees Avenue, Riverton, Utah 84065. Casual attire is welcome.
