Delamar "Red" Kerr

July 15, 1922 — April 18, 2015

DelAmar Kerr, age 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 18, 2015. He was born, July 15, 1922, and raised in West Bountiful, Utah.

DelAmar married the love of his life, Mary Louise Odekirk on July 1, 1946. They were married for 63 years.  She preceded him in death in 2010. They are now together forever in Heaven.

DelAmar served proudly in the U.S. Army and served overseas during World War II.  He was a combat decorated Veteran.  He helped to liberate prisoners in the Nazi concentration camps.

He is survived by his 3 daughters, Cheryl (Roger) Klindtworth, DeAnne Moffitt, Karylee (Gene) Dall; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and sister, Peggy Sanovich.

He was also preceded in death by granddaughter, Lindsay Dall; and son-in-law, Dick Moffitt.

Our Dad and Grandpa had a great sense of humor and a kind loving heart. He will be missed by all of us.

A viewing will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, followed by a graveside service at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park at Noon.
