DeLauna June Draper Rollins

Age 72, died on July 14th, 2025, in Payson UT. She was born on February 5th, 1953, and was adopted by Dallas Leon Draper and June lovinia Seal Draper as a young baby. She grew up in the Riverton area and attended Bingham High School while it was still in Copperton. She later attended Ohio State to study ASL and other subjects. She loved coloring and gardening and "Scooter", the turtle that they had at Mervyn Sharp Bennion Veterans Home in Payson Utah.

She married Russell Turpin in 1973, and they had four amazing kids but later separated. Then on July 18th 2003 she married her old high school sweetheart David Leroy Rollins in Paris, Idaho. Her and David were inseparable ever since, until his passing on May 22nd, 2025. She loved her kids and grandkids and spoke of them often. She loved coloring and gardening and "Scooter", the turtle that lived with them at Mervyn Sharp Bennion Central Utah Veterans Home in Payson, Utah where both her and David spent their later years.

Her children want to give special thanks to Bennion Central Utah Veterans Home, all DeLauna’s doctors, nurses and CNAs for their care and compassion. Specific thanks to Alex Shuey for the overwhelming compassion shown to Delauna’s children after her passing. It’s wonderful knowing people like her and the rest of that team are in the world doing so much good for others. Also, thanks to Debbie and her other friends at the veteran’s home for being such good friends and giving her compassion in her final moments.

She is survived by her four children. Three boys, Ian Turpin and his wife Jennifer, Jason Turpin, and Garth Turpin. Finally, her youngest and only girl, Lynne Riley and her husband Raymond. As well as granddaughters Raylynn, Riley and Courtney Bostwick. She preceded in death by her parents Dallas Leon Draper and June Lovinia Seal Draper and her husband David Leroy Rollins.

She was a great mother whose family and friends will miss her deeply. Forever we will hold you in our hearts.
