Delbert Hugh Fowler, age 82, passed away May 24, 2007, of a lung ailment. He was born June 22, 1924, in Santa Monica, California, to Hadley Victor and Ida Cummings Fowler, who raised him and his siblings in Salt Lake City. As a child he loved fishing with his father, and adored his black dog Jack. After graduating from Granite High School in 1942, he worked locally as a machinist, and enlisted in the US Navy in 1943.
