Delilah Jenni Ortega passed away on August 25, 2023 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 26, 1951 in Durango, Colorado to Max and Jenni Gomez.
Delilah married Jake Ortega on February 19, 1972. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a preschool teacher for 28 years, working and caring for children was her calling. She also enjoyed crocheting ,needlework and spending time with her family especially all her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jake Ortega and their three children Celina Gordon, Cirila Medina, Jake and Teresa Ortega. 6 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Max and Jenni Gomez and her brother Max Jr. Gomez.
