Dennis Edward Ward

March 29, 1968 — July 4, 2025

South Jordan

With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved brother, father, and son, Dennis Edward Ward, who left this life on July 4th, 2025, in the quiet of his home. Though his life held struggles, Dennis will always be remembered for the tender, generous, enthusiastic, patriotic, loving spirit that he was.

Dennis was born on March 29, 1968, in Orange County, California, to Robert D. and Sharon Ward. He grew up with his brothers Ken, Keith, and Derrick, and his sister Kathleen, creating memories filled with laughter, adventure, and family connection.

A graduate of California State University, Northridge. Dennis earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics and carried an ambitious spirit that led him into a successful career in sales and entrepreneurship. He started out humbly, selling t-shirts door-to-door, and eventually built his own business, Stellar Design, a testament to his hard work and creativity.

Before life’s struggles took hold, Dennis was known for his generous heart and his natural ability to lift the spirits of those around him. He gave freely, not for recognition, but simply to bring joy to those he loved. His unique off-the wall humor and lighthearted comments turned uncomfortable situations into moments of laughter and ease.

Dennis loved spending time with his loved ones, whether gathered for a simple conversation or sharing in life’s joys. One joy in particular, was his patriotic devotion to his country. He always loved politics, and the 4th of July, was his favorite holiday! This always stood out to others. His tender heart, entrepreneurial drive, steadfast patriotism, and his playful personality will be the legacy he leaves behind.

Dennis is survived by his loving children, Brittany Golightly, and Riley Ward; his parents, Robert D. and Sharon Ward; and his siblings, Ken, Keith, Derrick, and Kathleen; and his former wife Cindi Bunker. He now rests peacefully, free from the trials and challenges he carried, embraced in everlasting love.

A private family gathering will be held at Mountain View Memorial to celebrate Dennis’s life and spirit. We take comfort knowing he is finally at peace.

Rest easy, Dennis! We’ll remember your heart, your silly jokes that caught us off guard, and how you always knew how to lighten the mood! : ) We love you dearly!
