Late Thursday P.M. Derek Tyler Draney slipped the surly bounds of earth, reached out his hand and touched the face of God. He had the heart of a warrior and the soul of a poet. He graduated from Hunterdon H.S., Lebanon, NJ where he played varsity football. He attended Raritan Valley College and Salt Lake Community College. He loved all outdoor sports and was passionate about hunting and fishing. He adored his younger siblings Jason and Allison, his Grams Meriel, his nephew James, and his parents Bill and Mayvonne, all of Salt Lake City. Now we all await, renewed with grace… Your gentle touch… Your warm embrace… The forever promise of your youthful Face! Oh gentle warrior, you are deeply loved!
