Diana Johansen

Nov 30, 1942 — Nov 30, 2023

Murray, Utah

The remarkable life of Diana Snow Johansen began on January 22, 1943, in Price, Utah.

Diana was active from the very start, supported her mother in taking care of her siblings, helping her dad at work,  participated in multiple school clubs & winning various awards for her expert seamstress talents. After graduating from Carbon High School in 1961, she married Paul M Johansen on October 21, 1965, solemnized on August 8, 1969 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Together they raised their children, Scott and Jill, with love and dedication.Diana was an extraordinary mother and community member, serving many years as PTA president, Den Mother, and Primary President. In addition, Diana was known for her talent in organizing birthday parties and wedding receptions.

Diana was difficult to slow down. Despite three brain surgeries, cancer, and various broken bones, she continued to serve others. She held church callings, volunteered at elementary schools, and hosted dinners and holiday events for her friends and family.

Taking care of others was Diana's love language, especially for her family. To us, she is Gma. The love & devotion she had for her family was unwavering.

On July 5th, Diana passed away surrounded by her family from complications with pneumonia. We are honored to have known Diana, & to be loved by her. She will be forever in our hearts. We are comforted knowing she is now reunited with her true love Paul after being without him for 20yrs.

Diana is survived by many extended family members, her children Scott and Lindsey Johansen and Jill Bartschi. Her grandchildren JT, Espri, Jaxon, Bradley, Abi, Olivia, and Sophia. Her great grandchildren Isabelle and Alayna. Her sister Marcia (Ray) Madsen. The family wants to express deep gratitude to the Collard & Shiner family for the endless support love & care they gave to Diana.
