Diana Marie Ruda

Diana Marie McDonald Ruda, age 53, of Park City, Utah, died at her home from health complications on Tuesday, January 27, 2009. She was born on July 11, 1955 in Herimston, Oregon, the daughter of Archie McDonald and Marie Redwine Young. She married Kevin Ruda in 1978 in Portland, Oregon. She loved horses, spending a great deal of time with "Playboy" and friends. Diana spent many hours gardening and enjoying the outdoors. Her greatest love was the ocean. Spending time watching her children in their many activities was best of times for her. She was always grateful for the many friendships she shared in Park City.

She is survived by her husband Kevin, two daughters, Heather Marie Stump of Verona, Wisconsin and Mindy (Les) Young of Middleton, Wisconsin and two sons, Mike of Waukesha, Wisconsin and Jordan; mother, Marie Young of Sun City West, Arizona, and one sister Debbie Asby of Vancouver, Washington. Preceded in death by her father Archie and her brother John.

Friends and family may visit on Thursday evening, January 29, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City. Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2009 1:00pm at the Sheperds of the Mountain Lutheran Chuch, 4051 North Highway 224 in Park City, Utah.
