Dianna Elaine Pearson

January 10, 1953 — July 18, 2022

The world was blessed on January 10, 1953 when Dianna was born in Lexington, Missouri to Beverly Katherine (Jacobs) and Marvin Dee Lierley. Her life was richly blessed by a loving stepmother Sandra Charlene (Shephard) Lierley who took Dianna under her wing. She graduated in the class of 1971 in Montrose High School, Colorado. She met her sweetheart Bobby Lee Pearson and they were married April 9, 2005 in Reno, Nevada. They were later sealed in the Denver, Colorado temple on August 14, 2009 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints for time and all eternity. They were married for fifteen happy, precious years.

She blessed many people with her infectious smile, heart of a warrior, and her talents writing letters and crocheting.  She had the ability to make an instant friend with any stranger in line anywhere, anytime.  In addition to being a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she worked hard as a host home provider and property manager.

Our beloved Dianna Elaine (Lierley) Pearson, 69, returned to our loving Heavenly Father on July 18, 2022 in South Jordan, Utah surrounded by loved ones; due to a heroic battle with pancreatic cancer and a blood clotting disorder.

Surviving Dianna are her siblings David M. (Catherine) Lierley, Merri Jo  (Shannon D.) Gardner, Sherry L. (Paul D.) Burr, Mark D. (Miriam R.) Lierley; children Anja L. Peterson, Malynn (John M.) Beck, Kimberly A. (Benjamin H.) Layman; her seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her bonus family: six children; ten grand-children; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby L. Pearson; child Christopher E. Waddoups;  parents Marvin D. & Sandra C. Lierley, birth mother Beverly K. Jacobs; and her niece Samantha Lierley.

Heaven is joyous to have this fun-loving, joyful, and lively woman back again. She will be greatly missed on this Earth.
