On February 18, 2023, Dianna Lynn Spence Howcroft beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away surrounded with love from all her family.
Born in Salt Lake City on April 22, 1947, to Ezra and Norma Spence, she was the oldest of four children. Dianna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After graduating from Skyline High School in 1965, she attended the Patricia Stevens School of Fashion Design. Dianna met the love of her life, Harold Craig Howcroft, on a blind date. They were engaged 3 weeks later and married after 5 months on March 3, 1967. They lived a great life together- over 55 years! Dianna loved to stay involved. During her childhood she did the school newspaper and was active in young women’s. She worked at the church offices, the DMV, and the airlines. She volunteered in the PTA as treasurer and president. She spent most of her career in the banking industry, working at several different banks. Those who knew Dianna were blessed with love and friendship. Dianna was genuinely friendly and outgoing. She made new friends everywhere she went, had the ability to talk to everyone, and made people feel special. She enjoyed traveling to many places with her family and friends. You could always find her crocheting or diamond painting, usually thinking of others and giving them away as gifts. She loved shopping and enjoyed buying surprises for everyone. She loved dragonflies and daisies.
Dianna was very proud of all her family and loved spending time with them. She was always willing to listen when someone needed to talk and eagerly gave advice.
