Don Carl Seidel

March 16, 1925 — March 8, 2010

Don passed away peacefully on March 8th after a long illness. Born Mar. 16, 1925 in Seward, Nebraska. After serving in World War II, Don had a long and successful career as a chemical engineer. He traveled the world extensively, sharing his expertise in uranium processing.

Don will be remembered for his intellectual curiosity, his quick wit, and his delight in babies, little children and dogs. He loved the mountains and was proud of his well-earned 80+ years ski patch.

Immediate survivors include his wife Shirley, son Jim, daughter Jayne (Rick), adored granddaughter Lara and beloved Corgie Brody. Services private. Remembrance donations may be sent to the Salt Lake City Humane Society, P.O.Box 573659, Salt Lake City, UT 84157. Arrangements by Holbrook Mortuary.
