Don Scott Taylor

Don Scott Taylor was born on April 7th, 1937 and died July 8th, 2026. With the exception of 4 years in the Navy he lived the rest of his 89 years in Holladay, Utah. He carried mail for almost 40 years and showed love and kindness to all he encountered. He would have given the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. He owned and loved numerous dogs throughout his life, loved camping, hiking, the outdoors, gardening and family.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary 51 years ago and his son Dan 20 years ago, his parents Louis Ervin and Leona Scott, all 3 siblings Marlyn, Jean and Ross, plus a multitude of friends.

He is survived by his 2 son's James and Shawn, his stepson Marc, his 2 stepdaughters Tritia and Joleen, 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

His absence is apparent to everyone who knew and loved him, and he will be sorely missed.
