Donald Martin Kingston, 51, of Taylorsville, Utah, passed away on Thursday, September 12, after a prolonged battle with health issues.
Donald was a loving and proud father to five children, whom he cherished deeply. He was an Eagle Scout and was proud of that major accomplishment. He was also an enthusiastic sports fan, with a particular fondness for the New York Giants and New York Yankees. His passion for soccer and sports cars was matched only by his recent enthusiasm for selling sports memorabilia and sneakers, which led him to forge meaningful connections within his Sneakerhead community who have been so welcoming to him.
Donald was preceded in death by T. Ray Kingston, LaRue Kingston, Carol Jencks, Sam Kingston, Marty Martin, Lionel Martin, Lucile Martin and Kelly Martin. He is survived by his loving parents, Ted and Kathie Kingston, who supported him unwaveringly until the end. Donald is also remembered by his sisters, Katie (Bradley), Teresa (Kial), Gayle (Jeremy), and Melissa (Mark) as well as his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and extended family that he loved so much. He also leaves behind his beloved children, Amanda (Cody), Nick, Melissa, TJ, and Brandon.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 21, at 11 AM at the LDS Church, located at 5905 S 4000 W, Taylorsville, Utah 84129.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, honoring Donald’s memory and supporting the fight against cancer.
