Doris was a devoted wife and mother.
Eight days after the passing of her husband Ronald, Doris departed from this life to follow him back to the presence of Heavenly Father.
Doris was born June 28,1941 in Salt Lake City Utah, to Wendell and Von Neda Jensen. At the age of 10, she contracted rheumatic fever. She spent 6 months in bed and sometime in the middle, she also developed Polio, which paralyzed the right side of her back.
Doris and her loving husband Ronald were married in the Salt Lake Temple on February 16, 1961. She cared for her family while living with the aftereffects of rheumatic fever, polio, and 7 major back surgeries.
She loved puzzles and art projects of all kinds and spent many long hours working on them.
She served in her ward as a Primary teacher, and ward Librarian. She dearly loved both callings and put her whole heart into them.
Later in life post-polio syndrome took its toll and a slow but steady decline left her wheelchair bound. Her life was further complicated by Alzheimer’s disease.
She passed quietly in her sleep. She will missed by all who knew her.
Doris is survived by sons: Paul (Marilyn) and David (Coreena), 14 grandchildren, and 34 great grandchildren.
