Doris Elaine Young

Doris Elaine Young, age 93, passed away on April 16, 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on September 6, 1932, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Glen Young on September 12, 1951.

Doris created a home filled with warmth and love. Doris enjoyed crafting and spending time at their trailer in Samak. She had a talent for painting, loved planting flowers, and working in the yard.

She is survived by her 3 daughters Doris (Ron) Roeling, Connie (Randy) Fausett, and Sharrie Wrona (caregiver). Also 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Glen Young, (son) Glen Young Jr., great grandson Kody Millburn, her parents Thomas Henry and Dora Lucille World Simpson and her siblings Stella, Lola, Tom, Harold, and Don.

Funeral services will be held on April 28, 2026, at Memorial Estates 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. A viewing will begin at 12:00 PM followed by a graveside service at 1:00 PM.
