Our beautiful, sweet, always smiling grandma, was 99 years old…And with her family surrounding her, she was born into eternity on May 7, 2024...
Dorothy Ellyn Ennis was born on January 19, 1925 in Chicago, IL to Fred and Meeda (Ekberg) Lundgren. She married James Moore and later divorced. Together they had three children, Sharon, Patricia and James. Later in life, she married the love of her life, Lloyd Ennis. They moved from Chicago, IL to Granger, UT with her adult married children not too far behind them. They settled in Murray, UT and have resided there ever since.
Grandma used to love to play bingo, crochet blankets and you’d almost never see her without a camera in her hand. She loved spending time with her grandkids. They always made her laugh and brought a huge smile to her face. She was the sweetest lady that you’d ever meet, so welcoming and loving. She was the best back scratcher in the world. The grandkids all loved to lay across her lap and would fall asleep from her magic fingernails. She was the most faithful woman to her Catholic belief. When it became difficult for her to attend mass, communion was brought to her at home. She prayed the Rosary every single night. We know that God had his arms wide open to welcome grandma to Heaven.
She is survived by daughters, Sharon Phillips and Pat McCarty; grandchildren, Terry Montano (Errol) and Melissa Janusz; great-grandchildren, Junior, Christina, Anyssa and Brady; and one great-great-grandaughter Alaya.
She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; son Jimmy Moore; brother Fred Lundgren and sister Margaret Zoiss.
