Dorothy Helen Herrett Williams

Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Dorothy Helen Herrett Williams passed away March 1, 2016 at a local hospital in Murray, Utah. Born September 29, 1927 in Tacoma, Washington to Olin Emmet and Vera Jones Herrett.

She was a convert to the LDS Church in the year 1955.  Married Kenneth Lorenzo Williams in 1948. They enjoyed a happy life together and had four beloved children.

Dorothy was an avid Genealogist, enjoyed gardening, puzzles and playing solitaire.  Dorothy loved the ward in which she lived and was highly respected and loved by her family, friends and community.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Jay Herrett, and son Mark Olin Williams. Survived by three children:  Douglas (Lynn) Williams, Charles Williams, and Kris (Steve) Padley; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm,Tuesday March 8, 2016 at the Cottonwood Heights 5th Ward chapel, 7075 South 2245 East, where friends may visit with the family from 10:30am to 11:30am prior to the funeral. Interment will be held directly after services at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S.
