Dorothy Covington Talbot

Dorothy "Bunny" Covington Talbot died peacefully on August 19, 2015 at the age of 82.
Bunny is survived by her children; Douglas Talbot, Dawn Talbot Southwick (Bret), Dennis Talbot (Lisa); her siblings Ted Covington (Celeste), Gene Covington (Akiko), as well as her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was born on November 29, 1932 in Torrey Utah to June and Florence Covington. She married Dale Talbot on November 20, 1953. Soon after their marriage, the couple welcomed 3 children into their home. Dorothy set about teaching them the value of hard work, honesty and unconditional love. Her children remember her as a fun-loving and dedicated mother, grandmother and Great-grandmother whose kindness never failed to amaze.

Bunny was exceptionally selfless; always putting others wants and needs above her own. She never had a bad word to say about anyone and constantly found the positive in any situation. She was an active member of the LDS Church and gave her time to service those in need.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 24, 2015 at the Winder 13th Ward, 4350 South 1100 East. Friends and family may visit on Sunday evening, August 23, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South, 2300 East and at the church on Monday from 9:30am to 10:30am prior to services.
