Dorothy Waagen

Dorothy, age 84, died on February 21, 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on July 2, 1941, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Wilma Christeena Waagen and Fredrick Wesley Waagen. 

Dorothy was an avid bowler and played on several leagues. She even went to National Bowling for years. She retired from Mountain Bell Telephone Company with 37 years of service. She liked to travel as often as possible.

She is survived by her sister Loa Mullholland, nieces and nephews Crystal Quarry (Michael), Rachael Mullholland, Victoria Huelse (Brennan), Chance Quarry, Denise Sanders (Tanna), Tanya Hunt (Scott), Francis Mullholland-Shirley, Don Waagen (Jan), David Waagen, Travis Waagen, Justin Waagen, Tiernan Mullholland-Shirley.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Donald Elwood Waagen, Richard Fred Waagen, and John William Waagen.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. A daytime viewing will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM. Interment will take place after services at Elysian Burial Gardens.
