Douglas Arthur Reaveley

Douglas Arthur Reaveley, beloved son, father, and uncle, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2008 at his home in Salt Lake City. Doug was born on November 6, 1969. He grew up in East Millcreek and graduated from Olympus High School. Doug was an Eagle Scout and fulfilled an LDS Mission in Indiana. Doug loved animals and had some rather unique pets. Doug loves children and is a favorite uncle to several nieces and nephews. He had a loving relationship with each of his brothers and sisters. He has a large extended family and thoroughly enjoyed family gatherings. The shining light of his life is his son Bryce. Doug will truly be missed by his loved ones. Doug is survived by his son, Bryce; mother, Carolyn and father, Ronald; brothers, John, Dan, and sisters, Marianne and Lorianne. He is preceded in death by a brother, James. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Valley View 5th ward, 2245 East 3900 South, where friends may visit with the family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services.
