Earl DeVon Bradford, beloved husband, Dad, gramps, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the age of 86. He was born on July 18, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Hial and Rose Bradford.
Earl married the love of his life, Patsy LaRae Mickelsen, on May 18, 1959. Later sealed in the Jordan River Temple as eternal companions. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared many cherished years. Earl was a devoted family man whose greatest pride and joy was his family. He would often say with a smile that all of his family looked like him.
Earl found happiness in the simple things in life. He loved fishing and hunting and had a special love for dogs. His faith and love for the Church were an important part of his life. He enjoyed feeding the squirrels, hummingbirds, and many other little creatures that visited his porch and found great joy in watching the wildlife around him. Earl also had a fondness for vanilla ice cream and loved reading the Book of Mormon.
Earl will be remembered for his love of family and the hard-work he did to support them, his faith, his non nonsense demeanor, and the many little things that brought him happiness, and made him who he was. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his children, Dale Bradford, Kevin Bradford (Lydia), and Teresa Brown (Quinn Sr.); 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
Earl was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patsy “Honey” Bradford; his daughter, Lorie Bradford; his parents, Hial and Rose Bradford; and five siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m at Redwood Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries located at 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, Utah 84123. An evening viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m held at the same location. Interment will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Memorial Redwood Cemetery Garden of Reflection.
Earl has been reunited with the love of his life, "Mama". He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
