Edith Virginia Gibson Bell

April 19, 1936 — September 7, 2023

Edith Virginia Gibson Bell passed away on 7 September, 2023 in Fort Dodge, Iowa after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
Edith was born on 19 April 1936 in Durango, Colorado to Clifford Gibson and Birdie Ann Wilson. Her family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah when she was a young girl. She met her sweetheart while attending West High School. She married Norman Bell on 8 October 1954 in Farmington, Utah.
She was an exceptional seamstress. She made wedding dresses, costumes for dance recitals, blankets, and clothes for her children and grandchildren. She loved to crochet. She made tablecloths, Christmas angel ornaments, baby clothes, hot pads, and more. She loved camping, boating, and traveling with family. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
