Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Edna (Eddi) Miner passed away on September 29, 2022. She was born on January 24, 1936, in Bay City, Michigan, to Stephen A. Jayo and Edna Dubay. She married Jack Elton Miner Sr. on June 2, 1963. They were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple.
A talented artist, Mom loved to paint, draw, and make all kinds of crafts to share with others. She shared her talents with her children and grandchildren who became beneficiaries of her many gifts. Her greatest attribute was that of unconditional love. Mom didn’t just love, she loved with all her heart. She put others needs above her own especially when it came to her family.
Mom became an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her favorite calling was that of being over the Social Committee where she used her talents to bless and enrich the lives around her.
Survived by Children: Michelle Holbrook, Nikki Colwill, Rober Eager Jr., Jack E. Miner Jr, Stephen J Miner (Meggan), Lisa Spaulding (Rex), Elaine Passaglia (Mike), Diane Cooper (Mark): 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by husband; Jack Elton Miner Sr.; daughter, Quinn Woolsey; parents Stephen and Edna Jayo; sisters, Gloria, Delores; brothers, Leonard, Stephen, Roger.
Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1356 E 7200 S, Cottonwood Heights, Utah, on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 11:00 AM.
A viewing will be held one hour prior to the beginning of services, 10:00 AM.
Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of our dear mother, but we rejoice in knowing she is united once again with her beloved husband.
Family would like to thank everyone, including the congregation of the Butler 20th Ward, for all the love and support that has been extended to our family. We also thank Dr. Newbold for the many years of medical care.Service Information
