Edris Wilma Higley Jespersen

Edris Wilma Higley Jespersen. age 91 of Salt Lake City, Utah. passed away peacefully, on tuesday February 19th, 2008 in sandy, utah. Edris was born February 4th, 1917 in Clear Creek, Utah. To Clifford and Clara Bell Higley. Edris and her loving husband Lee L. Jespersen, were married on August 13th, 1934. They have been happily married for 72 years. Their marraige was later solemnized in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. Edris and Lee owned their own business, Utah Television. She would schedule appointments for Lee. Edris was known for her own special style and many talents, she enjoyed cooking, antiques, gardening, doing her beautiful needle point, but most of all she enjoyed life with Lee. Edris will continue to live on in our hearts and minds, she will be dearly missed. Edris is survived by 2 daughters, Sharon Crawshaw Salt Lake City,Ut. Susan Smith Koch Reno, NV. 11 Grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. 2 brothers, Glenn and Harold of Utah. Preceded in death by, her parents, Clifford and Clara Bell Higley; husband Lee and daughter Penny Lee and her husband Paul R. Lochhead. A special thanks to the C.N.S. hospice staff and to her caregivers, Gregory & Janette Lochhead and family. Graveside services will be held Monday at 12:00pm at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 1750 East 3300 South. Friends may visit with the family at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, from 10:30-11:30am Monday morning prior to services.
