Eileen Denise Stuart passed away at the age of 50 on September 14, 2023, in Bountiful, Utah. She was born on July 9, 1973, in San Pablo, California to Lonnie Dale Stuart and Colleen Carpenter Stuart.
While growing up, Eileen enjoyed tap and ballet dancing and later excelled to be a ballerina on toe. She learned to play the piano and the flute; however, dancing was her thing. She also enjoyed cross stitching Precious Moments designs.
Eileen Denise Stuart graduated from Woods Cross High School in 1991. After high school, she chose to use her middle name. She attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1999. For ten years, Denise worked as a registered nurse in the ICU units of hospitals in the Dallas, Fort Worth area.
Denise married David Perkins on Aug. 24, 1993, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He passed away on Dec. 18, 2007, in Keller, Texas. Denise then married Roger Madison on Sept. 10, 2011. She and Roger gave birth to a daughter, Joanna Jamie Madison on Aug. 1, 2013.
Denise is survived by her daughter Joanna Jamie Madison, her mother Colleen Stuart, her sisters Julie Derbidge and Joyce Farnsworth, and her brother David Stuart.
She is preceded in death by her father Lonnie Dale Stuart.
Funeral services for Denise will be on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3599 South Orchard Drive, Bountiful. Friends and family may gather for a viewing one hour prior to the services. She will be laid to rest at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, following the service.
