Elden Edward Hadfield was born in Grouse Creek, Utah to William and Grace Viola (Jorgensen)Hadfield; died Wednesday morning at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Elden was a local businessman for 38 years. Active in the LDS church where he served as Bishop. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, and will be greatly missed by his devoted family.

Preceded in death by his wife, Sarah (Hall); grandson, Alan J Berry; and survived by children, Susan (Gary) Johnson, William (Gayle) Hadfield, Cynthia (Joe) Berry, Nancy (Bruce) Stratford; 25 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; siblings, Vonda Whitlock, Max and Dean Hadfield. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ensign 1st Ward, 135 A Street. Friends and family can visit at the church Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
