Elenoa Coleman

September 27, 1941 — July 16, 2023

Elenoa Coleman died on July 16th, 2023 peacefully at her home in West Valley City Utah at the age of 81.
She was born September 27, 1941 in Saoluafata, Western Samoa to Poavale Mulitalo & Toalima Mulitalo (Roberts).  She was the seventh of ten children.  She moved to Hawaii as a teenager where she eventually met and married Michael Edwin Coleman on November 2, 1973.  Her husband Mike was active Military which meant her family moved every three years to places including Jacksonville Florida, Fort Worth Texas, San Juan Puerto Rico, Frankfurt Germany, Atlanta and Augusta Georgia before retiring in West Valley City Utah to be close to her family.  Family meant everything to Elenoa, it was prevalent in every aspect of her life whether you were speaking to her or walking through her home dotted with countless photos of her loved ones and memories throughout the years.
Elenoa met everyone with unconditional love and kindness without judgment.  She made an impact on everyone she met and always kept her door open to anyone who needed a place to stay.  She loved having extended family in her home and loved the holidays.  She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for others, especially her famous egg rolls.
Elenoa loved working in her garden and caring for her animals.  She loved her animals so much her grandchildren would call her Grandma Kitty.  Elenoa had a zest for life and enjoyed laughing, telling stories and going “down the road” to her favorite place to play her games in Wendover NV.  Elenoa was known to tell you exactly how she felt at all times.  She was direct and kind, humble and outgoing, bluntly honest and empathic all at the same time.  Elenoa lived by a simple yet impactful phrase, “I help, I love, I give.”
She is survived by her three sons, Martin (Laverne) Lake, Michael (Stephanie) Coleman, Dave (Jennifer) Coleman and her grandchildren Ambrose, Azra, Ainsley, Aspen, Moki, Maui (Martin), Ash Lee, Mikala, Ryan, Kryslyn (Michael), Sophia & Layla (Dave), and Ku’uipo (Davina).
She is preceded in death by her husband Michael Edwin Coleman, her oldest twins David and Davina Lake and son Alexander Lake.
