Elijah Leon Kelly, 19, of Las Vegas, Nevada, died January 3, 2015 as a result of heart failure. He was born March 11, 1995 in Carson City, Nevada and raised by his grandmother Bonnie Greene, who preceded him in death. Elijah attended Legacy High School in North Las Vegas and graduated from Basic High School in Henderson in 2013. While in high school he was active in sports, choir, and Project WE. He was currently enrolled at Salt Lake Community College majoring in biology as he planned to work in the medical field. He worked as a CNA and volunteered at the University of Utah Cardiology Lab. He spent time volunteering with UNICEF as well as helping others in the community. He was a passionate Saints, Heat and Utes fan and will continue cheering on his favorite teams.
