Elmond Wilson, 79, beloved father, grandfather and brother, graduated from this earth life on August 3, 2008 after a lengthy and challenging learning experience. He was born in Tridell, Utah to John Thomas and Maude Wilson on October 18, 1928. He married Delsa Durfee on November 26, 1958 in the Salt Lake Temple.Elmond was an extraordinary educator who blessed the lives of countless students as he served as teacher and principal in Uintah County and Granite School District schools. He was known for his standard of excellence, keen intellect and love of music. He taught his children and grandchildren the true meaning of fun and encouraged their efforts in music and education. He enjoyed political discussions, road trips, and spending time with family.He is survived by his wife, Delsa; sons and daughters - Delmond & Donna Wilson; ElLois & Cort Bailey; Durven Wilson; Maudine & Scott Thomas; Terry & Laura Wilson; Janel Larson; Veneita Wilson; 25 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; twin brother Eldred "Curly" Wilson, siblings Carl Wilson and Twila Hughes; preceded in death by parents, seven siblings, and grandson Jake Wilson.Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 7 at 10 am at East Mill Creek 2nd Ward, 3750 South Hillside Lane (2505 East). Viewing one hour prior to funeral service from 8:45 am to 9:45 am and on Wednesday, August 6, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 S. 2300 E. Interment in Tridell Cemetery, Tridell, Utah.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to the Perpetual Education Fund
