Eric Lee Mann

OGDEN- Eric Lee Mann graduated from this life after fighting a long COURAGEOUS battle with chronic health problems, he finally succumbed to pneumonia and sepsis.

Eric was born in Ogden to Dennis L. Mann and MarJean (Maggie) Mower Mann Lindley. Eric was raised in Ogden, Layton, Idaho, and Roy. He attended Roy and Fremont high schools. Eric was very bright and did well in school. Growing up he enjoyed playing soccer, basketball, and football. In later years he enjoyed playing Frisbee golf. Eric loved to read, his favorite author was Robert Jordan. He had an interest in writing as well. He was a self-taught master gardener. Eric was a huge Denver Broncos fan! He also loved camping and his trips to Moab.

Eric moved to CA, he married Athena Hope, they had two children, and were later divorced. Eric's greatest accomplishment was being "THE BEST DAD EVER"! More than anything he enjoyed spending time with his children, they were the LIGHT of his life.

Eric is survived by his parents; brothers, Luke Mann (SLC), Nicholas Mann (N. Ogden); his two children, Matrim and Aviendha, they were and always will be the love of his life.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th St, where friends and family can visit from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM prior to the service. Interment at Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made at any America First credit unions to the Eric L. Mann memorial fund.
